all the people that have ever known mac dre from what i have seen, whether they were in the pen together or on the streets, they say mac dre is a real homie, not in the norteno sense, but he is down for his. it's not that dre is a norteno, but the fact that he is down wit it and he ain't crossin game and makin songs with scraps as far as i know, and if he did he ain't yellin out sur. it's like if woodie made a song with mac dre and said i'm down with that c-r-e-s-t side, the homies from vallejo would welcome that with open arms too.

yeah i think i follow what you are sayin. i am sure the scrap fans of mac dre prolly aren't to glad to hear dre sayin norte like that. and i don't know if the hill and crestsides are still funkin. i think it is kinda like the mutt and norteno situation, how it's not beef until someone intiates it, but when someone does, all the agression that they been holdin back comes out. mac dre worked with b legit and lil bruce on that rapper gone bad cd, and in an interview he said they had been funkin since way back, but they squashed it. i don't know if he meant the whole crest and hillsides but take it for what it's worth...that's all i know about it
