Is this cd worth swooping? I don't own any GANGSTA DRE cds but I did like his flow from some of them comps that dropped in the early 2000s. Holla back.

^ I know this has been asked and answered before, but is there actually any difference between "the sequel" versions or not? I thought it was just a re-release

And to answer the OP, yes, get it. In it's own original way it is as classic as season, xorcist, psycho active, other sactown classics. It is a must have Sac town release that is way too slept on.

The original was released on Black Market with only 10 tracks. The Sequal was re-released a year later with 4 extra tracks dissing Brotha Lynch, Ced & Black Market. The sequal was repressed a couple of years ago on Black Armour Records.

I had both the original release and the original release of The Sequel. I saw that The Sequel had all of the songs from the original, so I traded the original for something of equal value at the time. Looking back on it, I realize I should have kept the original becaue of the monetary value.

I can honestly say I bought Gang Bangin Poetry just based on the album cover/title. Had no clue who Gangsta Dre was, just thought the cover was raw. Turned out to be an awesome album that I have listened to more than any other "blind purchase" I have ever bought. Never even knew that many people loved him until I got on this site, lots of my friends listen to Lynch, Raided etc. but almost none of em even know who G.Dre is.
