gamestop/ebworld/pre-order question

has anybody ever pre-oredered/bought a game online through ebworld.com and picked it up in store at a local gamestop?

i have been reading message boards and getting mixed experiences. some people do it all the time and love it or people who have had gamestop screw them over and not get there copy on release day.

so just curious if anybody has any exp. with this

lol ive done it but never went to pick up the game. they called me on release day if that counts.

only thing i know is that if online has special preorder bonus items you won't get them unless they ship it to you.

yeah when you make an order online and get to the shipping section, you can choose to search your local area for a gamestop where you can pick it up.
