Rapper The Game was arrested this past Saturday (May 20) in Burbank, Calif., and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon after police pulled his vehicle over in the suburb of Los Angeles.

The Compton, California-bred rapper, born Jayceon Taylor, was detained around 9 p.m.

Sources told AllHipHop.com that Game was pulled over for having no license plate on his 2006 Bentley and having a tint on his windows that was too dark.

While police did not confirm why the rapper was initially stopped, Lt. Puglisi of the Burbank Police Department did confirm that Game was arrested, charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, and released on $20,000 bail.

Sources also told AllHipHop.com that police found a set of brass knuckles in the rapper's car, resulting in his arrest and his vehicle being impounded.

Representatives for The Game did not comment.

burbank p.d are the biggest assholes there is man..they'll pull u over for the slightest thing...just like the glendale p.d.,where game recently bought a home..look for him to catch more cases in the future.....u think they really pulled him over couse of the tinted windows and l.plate or couse they seen who the driver was?

already seemed like game's an idiot, he probably didn't know his right.

More importantly, what rapper rolls with brass knuckles? I thought he's supposed to stay "strapped up". :ermm:

You lose all your right once you are in your car on the public streets! they can pull you over and search your can for anything they want. all they have to say is he's not cooperating or he smells like weed, or hes acting suspicious and your handcuffed (police call it detained) and they are looking through all your shit trying to get you on something. then make a millionaire who they know can afford bail ($20,000 easy money) on a case that will be dropped pay up, so that the government can get some free money!
