Two dogs disfigure baby left unattended in Murrieta

Police and Riverside children's services officials were investigating the case of a 6-month-old baby who was disfigured this weekend by two dogs at a Murrieta apartment.

The baby was attacked Saturday when inside a baby carrier. Murrieta police told the Press-Enterprise that two dogs -- a pit bull and pit bull mix -- mauled the baby, tearing through his diapers and damaging his genitals. The baby was rushed to a local hospital, but his condition was not revealed Wednesday.

Authorities told the paper that there is no evidence the baby did anything to provoke the attack and that he had been left unattended when the dogs found him.

The dogs were seized by Riverside County animal control. KTLA News reported the dogs are set to be destroyed

Stupid idiot parents, I don't care how nice and domesticated you feel your dogs are...dogs usually don't like lil kidsand babies, they get jealous and'll fuck em up if they can.

when i was four my parents were very highly regarded doberman breeders and one night in the living room i was playing with one of the dogs and it but its whole mouth over my head and bit down leaving massive scarring on my face. needless to say that dog was put to sleep the following day. that dog was show quailty and had won multiple best of breeds. doesnt matter, once you cant trust a dog he loses his ability to live on this earth anymore.

Shame on the parents for leaving him unattended. But hope the boy recovers well.
I dont care how nice or playful the dog is, they need to be away from little ones cause I do notice they get jealous.
