you didnt move ONE FUCKING VETERAN PLAYER at the deadline today?!?! was it that fucking hard?!?!

you couldn't have moved aurilia, winn, roberts, etc, for prospects or even cash at the worst?!?! non-moves like this are why you have killed our fucking team!! Instead of bringing up the young kids to see what they can do, we now gotta be stuck watching these dinosaurs and non-factors the rest of the season, and you couldn't care less!! the fact that you think we're in contention is a fucking joke, and now you and bochy are starting castillo at 2nd because hes considered "the future?" what about velez, frandsen, ochoa, and burriss??

i can't believe im saying this, especially cuz of the golden years of 97-04, but brian sabean you gotta go!!

AND YOU TOO BOCHY!! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE

He's a fucking idiot, he not only didn't trade any "vets" for whatever we could get...he refused to trade Molina and Taschner which could have yielded us decent-to-good prospects....

how bout marlins fans?? they woke up this morning with the news that manny agreed to be traded there and then all of a sudden he goes to the dodgers 10 min before the deadline..

I'd laugh about this, but the fact of the matter is that the marlins are going somewhere this year, while the giants are nowhere even close to florida's level..

The Marlins also wanted Bengie, but Sabean was asking too much for him....:dead:

yeah..the marlins were gonna give up mike jacobs, who has decent pop, but he's essentially a first base version of pedro feliz in that he has power but not alot of anything else; his BA, OBP, OPS, etc aren't really great...dude does have 22 jacks this year so far

marlins have some of the best scouts in the league. that is why they can keep trading their best players every year and bring up players from aaa. giants probably have the worst combo of scouts and gm in the league

Our hitting is absolutely attrocious. No runs over the last two. Makes me sick. We're just above SD for 3rd worst hitting in MLB.
I was listening to KNBR this morning and they said something like in the last 12 games where Cain has given up 2 earned runs or fewer he has not had a single win.

They just interviewed Sabean on KNBR, he sounded defeated and said there will FINALLY be changes made..heres the transcript:

When you said you hope that teams will come to their senses, at this point do teams try to rip off other teams? Some of that, but younger players are worth a lot. You can acquire a rent-a-player like Teixiera with LA. Now using a wait and see approach with the waivers process.

Jacobs for Molina, Aurilia to Twins, Taschner? Not very close to a deal, because they were trying to make bigger deals involving young pitching.

Blalock and Giants being a seller, doesn’t preclude you from acquiring player who can help later? No, and they will continue to look into possible deals throughout August that make sense for the future. Strategy now is to figure out who will get the playing time. Vets have done a good job via leadership, but its time to "shift gears". Says they have been honest about strategy.

Disappointed that no moves were made? No Livan Hernandez or Winn type deals were available, so there is a little disappointment. They were hopeful of getting a player that could help beyond this year.

What now? They plan on making roster moves and calling some players up.

What about Lincecum not pitching in 8th and being an organization decision. With the bullpen pitching poorly, especially Walker what was the thought behind it? Sabean said he would agree with move if they were 3 games out and 10 games over .500. Says they aren’t in the race, so it wasn’t necessary. At the end of the day, what would the win have meant?

Ralph and Dave Flemming didn’t think a pitch count made a difference after extra day off? Sabean says he doesn’t give a "flying flip" what Flemming thinks, they have been over the issue of rookies pitching into deep pitch counts and at this point, risking her future for meaningless games is not the right approach.

When Durham was traded it was said that rooks would play, will that actually change with the deadline passed? "Yes it will change"

Roberts future? With Freddy and the bunion and needing limited days off, Roberts will be a part time player and pinch runner. Roberts understands new role

Posey? Expects and hopes deal will be signed in the last week before deadline. No new updates

Questions with prospects? Sabean says its time to think about whether Lewis should leadoff off or put Burris there. Allow Freddy to get more swings down the lineup to use power

yup I love the Sabean interviews on the Razor & Mr. T Show. Obviously he could be interviewed by the other guys in other time slots but for some reason he's only on Ralph's show hahahahaha.

Everything back fired in Sabean's face like usual. No one wanted his garbage...he's probally the only gm in the league that thought he could get something good for Aurilia and probally the only gm that would've given up something good for Aurilia if he were on another team and the Giants were contenders...maybe one day he'll realize he's one of the most idiotic and gullible gm's in baseball. Cant believe the front office resigned this guy...smh
