i was on my way to dui class about and hour and a half ago and got pulled over and they impounded my car. the bullshit part about it is that the fucking officer that pulled me over was in my apt. complex doing some other shit. when i was leaving i noticed an ambulance and a police car parked near my house but i thought nothing of it and just proceeded to go to my class. so im sitting @ the stop light near my house and the cop rolls up, he's like three cars behind me and in the other lane. im thinking im good cuz i was told by the courts that i can go to and from dui class and work project. so the light changes im juz driving and he's two lanes away from me and at one point he's next to me but two lanes over. so i get ready to make a turn and now he's behind me. so i know im getting pulled over. to make it short he tells me that the car is registered to someone with a suspended license and i fit that description. i tell him that im going to my dui class and i was told im allowed to do that. he tells me there is no record of that and he's gonna give me a ticket and they are going to tow my car. he told me if i can prove to the court that i am able to drive with certain restrictions the ticket will be voided. my question is how do i prove it to the courts when they are the one that said i could drive ? also i will have to file a claim with the city to be reimbursed for the impound fee. before i left i asked him why he ran my plates and he said that he thought he heard loud music at the 1st stoplight. which isnt true because my stereo is stock and it wasnt turned up. so i ended up walking about 2 miles home and missing my class. yeeeeeeeeee !!
