What a slap in the face for BOTH TCU and BSU.

They complained ALL year about the lack of competition these teams play...so how do they reward them? Make em play one another. Just stupid.

Here is an idea....how about put them up against AQ schools so they can PROVE themselves?

I really wish the BCS system would just die.

On the one hand I am excited for this game because I think it's a great matchup, but on the other hand I too am really disappointed in the fact that neither school will be able to legitimize themselves by playing a bigger, "better" school. I was just hoping BSU got a BCS game period. So I do agree that is is essentially pointless with respect to the bigger picture, that being whether or not these teams can compete with the top schools in college football.

If the BCS committee was smart, they would have put TCU up against Florida, seeing as everyone outside of Gainsville HATES them, and everyone else in the nation has been behind TCU as the season went on. Did they think TCU would travel??? These "small" school THRIVE in supporting their teams.

Yeah the games are not as good as they should be if there was a playoff....I really wanna see TCU and Boise go up agianst the so called power housed instead of playing each other......One should go agianst Alabama and the other should play texas......

They don't want any of the small non-BCS schools to upset one their top money makers again so they had them play each other. The BCS is run by crooks who are looking to make their pockets deeper and I don't understand how the NCAA can allow this to go on.

How are you going to step up your strength of schedules if teams are scared to play the Utahs, TCU's Boise States etc? Utah after they won the sugar bowl last season tried to get Florida to play them in the future and Urban flat out said no. AQ teams are scared to play non-AQ teams.
