Body: To all the Nation,
If you were sitting in or near "The Black Hole" this Sunday against the Bears you all got to see the real Jerry Porter. Midway through the 3rd, Oakland was starting a drive in front of the Hole inside their own 5 yard line. The nation was once again backing their inept offense and letting them know how we felt even though they have yet to display hope, talent or even a sense of "Commitment To Excellence". Mr. underachievement himself Jerry Porter turns to The Black Hole and gives us the finger followed by a hand gesture and pointing at us implying that " I got your money". Of course we all let him know how we felt about him and he proceeded to simulate himself jacking off. That was real fitting considering that is exactly what he is, a jerk off. Once again he validated his one year doghouse stint and benching by Art Shell, not only due to lack of performance but lack of class and respect. John Gruden himself did not like something about this joke of a player and more and more we see why. Here is a guy that learned from the best but has yet to emulate their greatness. Players like Tim Brown, Jerry Rice and Fred B. that not only lit up the opposition on a week to week basis but showed class doing it . JP has yet to record a 1,000 yard season, he consistently has problems getting open and pretty much has been an underachieving disappointment his entire career. But yet this self-proclaimed superstar wants the respect and money that his predecessors received without making a single positive contribution to a very bad football team when they need a leader the most.
I personally am sick of these new style players who see the NFL as "a job" or "a paycheck" Guy's like JP are what is the problem with this team today. No passion or heart just another day at work, no respect for a group of fans that have stayed loyal to a team that has broken their hearts and spirits the past 4 years. I am sick of players that say "you don't know how I feel" or "it hurts us more then the fans so they need to shut up" that's bullshit because at the end of the day, while we jump in our door dinged cars due to a shitty parking situation, drive hours to various destinations and listen to the fluff Raiders post game show that does nothing but make excuses and talk about how close this team is to greatness because they have not lost by more than 7 points during their 5 game losing streak. Driving home feeling lethargic and week with face paint in our eyes and a nasty taste in our mouth from a combination of meat, alcohol and sitting through yet another performance that not only does not deserve to be on an NFL stage, but arguably may fail to live up to a Friday nights lights expectations in Texas, they jump in their $50k rides and drive to their multi-million dollar homes, sit back and know that once this dismal season ends they can take the family on 2 month vacation to any part of the world, all while their agents scramble through the days stats in order to find reason and justification for the next multi-million dollar deal. FUCK THAT! We as fans, especially RAIDERS fans, have been through more heartache and despair than any other group of people in sports because we expect greatness, we expect wins but for the most part we expect the players to believe as we do in the mystique and tradition that lured us all in the first place. But we have yet to see it from MOST on the team, all we see and get are excuses and fake promises that the team is so close to turning it around.
I am a RAIDERS fan always have been and always will be and if you are reading this chances are you are too. It is time we run mediocrity out of OAKLAND. Waste such as JP, Stewart Schweigert, Lomant Jordan and McClowns ass who do nothing but give us the best chance to lose. Dumb shits like Gallery and Sims who are either deph or stupid and can't remember a snap count, even when playing in a half empty stadium at home. I am sick of the fans being the only show and the only thing being feared at 7000 Coliseum Way. I am sick of meeting fans that came half way around the country and sometimes the world to see Izzy Osborne or Slack n' Loader play at the Black Hole tailgate because that is the only time they will get consistent play for 3 hrs straight and see someone actually good at what they do. I am sick of putting up $3,000+ a year in tickets, gas, parking etc. at these games and in return get the middle finger by a piece of shit like JP, second class treatment by security staff and the Oakland PD and a bird shit bigger than the size of the hole in our run defense on my windshield. We are not the Bengals, Bills, Cardinals or Saints, we actually give a fuck whether we win or lose. It is time that these players wearing the Silver & Black realize that the fans & the Black Hole are the only thing keeping alive the passion and heart that made the Raiders one of the most feared and winningest team in NFL history. It is not just a game to us, it is not just another Sunday, it is a way of life and to some fans it is the only day that we put all of our problems and day to day grind on the back burner and enjoy life with friends and family. The Raider Nation is by far the most passionate group in all sports but more and more I feel our intensity and passion is unappreciated and wasted and on a group of players who's only motivation for making a great play is so that they can up their value to go to another team or sign the dotted line for $$. I am sick of the players and coaches acting like and treating us like we don't know football or understand how tuff things are to get done in today’s NFL when RAIDERS fans are the most knowledgeable fans in the NFL.
Not all that bare the colors are a waste but unfortunately some key players are, and it is time they go. One thing they must realize is that we were here way before they got here and we will be here long after they are gone. It is up to all of us to NOT show support for these players until management rids us of these cancerous players. Only then by getting rid of this trash and keeping players who put in effort and most importantly believe in our traditions and history will we be able to move forward and get out of this state of disarrayed we currently find ourselves in.
