I think what all of you have forgot is the fact the Pac didn't controll the industry, the fans did. What people buy is what is "pop". Now you can go on thinking that if Pac was still around this pop shit wouldn't be every where, but that just the cycle of the industry. Look back to the early 90's, thats when all the young kids the supported pop shit grew up and started asking more from the artist, something with substance. Thats when we started to get really shit from every genre, but now the industry is focusing on the younger crowd again. So give it time these kids are going to grow up then the real shit will be back.

i agrees with that to an extent......
PAC in some way did have SOME control becuase if you came soft on any of your shit .........then you would hear about it on one PAC's albums........therefore everyone was tryin to comehard!!
