In a very interesting note that broke a few minutes ago, Ric Bucher of ESPN reports the Clippers have been talking to both the Dallas Mavericks as well as the Golden State Warriors about moving Baron Davis. Yeah, you read that right. Baron Davis, who left the Warriors high and dry, was offered back to Golden State, yet the Warriors didn't bite. Dallas was reportedly offered a deal of Baron Davis and Chris Kaman for Jason Kidd.

IF he were ever to go back to mvp calibur guard he was i would take him back gladly, but we've moved on and his best basketball is behind him. Still will be one of my all time favorites, but its time to move on. doubt we woulda traded for jamal if we still had baron, which means we still woulda had a unhappy al harrington on our squad. we would not have a decent role player off the bench in maggette who can get to the line. No doubt he woulda helped us right now, but we will be better in the long run.

of course i said the same thing about the j-rich trade.

BD would be good for the short-term but fuck taking on that big ass contract and especially since its hard for him to play a lot of minutes in a game. Baron really fucked the W's by opting out they lost like 10 mil cap space cuz of it.
