I got this movie last week and just got done watching it now, I thought it was a really good movie

Well, i guess if From Hell is slang for pizza...then you are correct.

From Hell was one hell of a movie. It did'nt need more gore(either though that would of been nice too) because Jack the Ripper was a secondary character in the movie. The film was mostly based around the investigation rather then grope over the murders for 2 hours. People who watched Zodiac had the same issue. Zodiac was more based on the actual case & thats why these two movies are considered dramas & not horror films. The Hughes Brothers are some great filmmakers & along with Johnny Depp did a great job IMO. For the record this movie is hella old. I seen it in theaters back in 2001. I think it does'nt get enough props. The case was not solved prior to the movie being filmed & what the Hughes Brothers did was give u their own theory of who they think the killer might of been who was a supect in the case(Samething with Zodiac). Those 2 movies are for people who have followed the case(like myself) & wanna watch a good movie & actually know something about filmmaking (also like myself).

Your just one of these cats that turned it on expecting a bunch of blood & guts but what u got was more of a story rather then nigga-nuts-and-guts. The movie was very good IMO. If u don't like films like this then go back 2 watching chick flicks like were already doing before..

CB thinks every movie ever made is crap...and for some reason, he thinks his opinion means more than anyone elses.

If you like it, then thats all that matters...and if he has a opinion about your taste in movies, just ignore him. Its valid in the beholders eyes and thats what counts.
