LMAO @ " They life off of handouts " A lot of those houses have been in the family since The Point was a blue collar working hub during the war ......... The history of Hunters Point is USA using the area & providing jobs during the WW1 & 2 - Then they left everyone out to dry w/ no way of making a living that would turn any area into a crime riddin area ...
Look @ anywhere else the US has done this , its the same ......... Then add the pollution its a fucked up area yes but great views , could have been Pacific Heights .....

yeah just like Richmond. It was a thriving ass city during the war for building naval ships. now look at it.

fo sho richmonds docks were thriving...now there junk yards and the whole of this city is steady becoming a shit hole..................................

Ya'll know whats up on the real history in the Bay Area - Richmond could have been a thriving city if the US didn't exploit the workers , and leave them out to dry ...


This happened to my Grandmother she & her sisters drove from SJ to Monterey to can food for the soldiers (which my grandfather was so they took pride in it) then after the war she was never able to trust the Gov. because just one day the plants closed & no more new car for the family ......... It really affected Oakland as well as the rest of the Bay - Just in different ways , good & bad ........
