concept is dope, but for the meaning of it to really take serious affect,i think it would be taken more serious and make more of an impact if it was all age event or atleast 18+

i kno alot of cats thats like 14-18 that cant/wont go to skoo not because of its hard but alot of cats be beefin with folx and gotta go to school with a gun, thats the reality of it..i mean it gets way deeper,i kno cuz i recently got out of high skoo unlike sum one thats been out of highschool for more then 10years,times deff done change, but alot of things that goes on nowadays is pretty much evident....just sayin tho

Look, let me say this as a Disclaimer right now to everybody that's gonna reply to this and say the same thing. We wish we could make it an All Age Event, or at least a 18 And Up Event, but we are under strict rules from the Bar, being that Time Out is a Bar, they ARE NOT allowed BY LAW to allow anyone who is under 21 into the club.

Monte u know I respect your hustle, u do it movin all over the Bay, but there aint nothing we can do about this, I wish the circumstances were different.

i know that, but what im trying to get at is whats going on with other venues when it comes to events at this type of subject matters?

im all for every event out here thats being held or will soon to be held and i will always support them for life, thats my word - which seems to be the only thing i got left in my life is my balls and my word however

i do talk to people on the daily basis on views of bay area music and seminars and what have you and we sit back and compare them to other market areas, my view of it just dont come from me but from highschool and middleskool cats aswell, regardless i will spread the word especially if money is going to schools, didnt they just shut down hella schools in oakland?

im trying to bring more current events to these boards on here to let people know whats really going on out here. kontac is doing all the Right things, and its a whole network strong behind him aswell as what yal are doing, and people like me can honestly respect that

that's good, we need the younger cats to get behind things like this, to show the even younger crowd that this is something to be respected, it's OK and cool to do something positive

haha forreal though shouldnt you include the youth into this event. thats what this show is about right? coo idea but the whole concept dont work out. you guys are putting on a show for the ages of 21+. im pretty sure most of them are out of elementary and highschool already. imagine if is was for all ages. i think you would be helping the youth out a whole lot more. im pretty sure that line up of performers that you have attending could help the youth just as much as the money that you make off this show.

alot of people on that list are active in the communities on a day to day basis that doesnt get noticed but the work is getting done some also perform at schools and things that u are talking about this is 1 event that is to raise more money to help the cause weather its an all age event or 21 and up things like this need to be done yes this is a show for the 21 and up but that dont mean we aint out there with the youth either doing things to help real talk

The concept is dope, the artist coming to the table is dope and raising money for kids and schools is OUTSTANDING. How does the idea not work? How can you say anything negative about people giving time, money and their art for others!

If you can't come maybe you should at least support with positive energy and maybe a donation! Its going to help others!!
