although i have an accounting assignment due on friday, and i sorta know what to do but not 100%, then i remembered my mom did accounting as well about 15 years ago so i took it to her to ask if i was on the right track. she took it and said she would do it for me lol. i probably will do it myself also and check it against hers so at least i learn how to do it properly.
another podgy thing happened today as well. because i work 5 days a week if there is a public holiday on 1 of my 2 days off i get to have a day off during my working week. last monday was a public holiday and i dont work mondays so the wednesday before that they rang me and said dont come in that night and ill get paid because of the monday. so i didnt work that wednesday and then they called me on the monday and said do you want to work, and since i was doing nothing i said yes. i was only expecting to get paid regular rate on that day because i had already taken my entitled day off but the office fucked it up and i ended up getting paid the public holiday rate of 250% ($50/h). i basically got paid 3.5x for the one shift on monday.
