everyone hates the Yankees, kinda like the Cowboys. I don't though. Then again, I'm not a huge baseball fan. I watch it from time to time, and keep up on ESPN and sport talk radio, but that's it. I root for the A's because I'm from the East Bay, and root for East Bay teams in general. However, I don't even like to claim to be an A's fan since I'm not a much a baseball fan in general
I don't like anyone who's ever played on the yankees besides CC & swisher

Yeah don't get me wrong I can understand when other fans get frustrated in any sport when one (or a few teams) are very dominant and go on to be like "fuck them, blah blah." It makes sense. I've been a Yankees fan for longer than I can remember and they straight up stunk from the early 80s until the early 90s for the most part and I still rooted for them as hard as I did when they went on their streak though.
If I had to pick my two least favorite players of all time they'd be Jeter & Posada. I can't stand watching them play. They're like the lady in the office that wins the NCAA pool picking their favorite colors. I don't understand how they're successful but they are and it pisses me off.
I had Cano like 3 years straight in fantasy baseball and he was never as good as everyone thought he was going to be. Then I quit doing it and he became the best 2nd baseman of all time.
Dont have a problem with Rivera but I don't really like him either.

People used to say my friends' dad had the best pickoff move in the history of baseball. Then some jagoff said it was Petitte and suddenly every broadcaster said the same thing. Fuck Petitte.

Jeter does that bullshit whenever a ball is half an inch inside where he jumps back and puts his arms out so the ump can't see and calls it a ball. And him & Posada have to be #1 & 2 all time in bloopers into shallow opposite field on swings they were jammed on. Plus I was at the game when Jeter was out of position and threw out Giambi at the plate in 01. Hate them both eternally
