a page will open with various categories to choose from. Now read carefully. If you noticed ... the soundranger website is made in Flash. Select a category, roll the mouse pointer over a soundfile to hear it... Nice design huh? In order for a flash page to work properly... all the contents of that page have to be put in your to temporary internet folder. Including the flash sounds. You don't even have to rollover each sound, just clicc on a category, once page has completely loaded and you can see all soundfiles on screen. then they have been loaded into your tempfiles. go to your temporay internet folder . In Windows XP
C:\documents and settings\(current user)\local settings\temporary internet folder. Arrange icons by type or name to group your .swf icons together. These are your sound files .SWF is the extension flash uses. Don't worry about that though. I import the sounds into cool edit . There is a water mark @ the beginning of each sound ,followed by a gap, then the wave starts, so it is easy to chop it off. once thats done save it as .wav
To make it easy ... clear out your temp folder first, so it will be easier to sort through, then make soundrangers the first site you visit. Good Luck. Don't thank me thank Soundrangers.com they gave it to you!!!
