Has anyone been watching how Fox news will broadcast their shows as the participants are speaking behind them? They will rip their speeches as the speeches are occuring...how fair and balanced is that? I also saw Kerrys speech last night, and thought he did an excellent job of selling himself, and not serving himself up as "not george bush." I thought his speech went very well, but then if you watched the Fox news take on it all they could say was, "An hour long speech? What was he thinking? That's way too long." What a crock of shit these pundits are. I also thought they blew it by ripping al sharpton who I thought tore the roof off...what do you think?

Wow! What speech were you watching? He thrashed your boy Bush, but on the under...the tightest was when he said (paraphrasing) "I'm not going to say that god is on our side, but in the words of Benjamin Franklin, 'I pray humbly that we are on gods side.'" For real, your boy bush shoulda been takin notes.

Fox News is terrible. How can they even given an opinion when their talking heads cut off the speech and start blabbering what the teleprompter gives them. Fox News sucks.

Did you all not watch a fucking MINUTE of CNN, MSNBC, etc? They said the SAME EXACT THINGS about Kerry's speech. But once again, you have your heads so far up your asses, you fail to even take a PEEK at other factors.

Barak Obama's speech was the shit....ALL CHANNELS AGREED. John Kerry's speech was a bit long-winded, shallow and didn't really outline what was necessary to change our course....ALL CHANNELS AGREED.

Oh! I forgot about the rest of the "liberal" media...shit is so obscured in your eyes if you don't think those other channels are shit. I say FNC because it is the one that is most blatently aligned with the whitest house. If you didn't think it was a well put together speech, you're trippin, and you doin some republican damage control...I can't wait for ya boy to make a fool of himself.

PBS and CNN overall gave a positive evaluation.

Chris Matthews on MSNBC had words for it, but such is to be expected. A main man for MSNBC was actually on Charlie Rose praising the speech.

What was interesting about this speech is that it was not meant to be taken as a whole. There was a concerted assumption that undecided voters would not listen in entirety, only to clips of it played on other stations. Thus, it was constructed in such a manner as to facilitate integrity even when broken into small sound bites.

I think Bush got him very good with that line about where Kerry changed his stance on the 87 billion, from "I am proud of my vote, to "it was a complicated matter"......then Bush: "There is nothing complicated about supporting our troops."

The Democrats are joking themselves if they think, in one fell swoop, America will suddenly vote for a Democrat-run White house, House and Senate.

Praised, yes...FNC praised it as well. But you act like FNC was the only channel to have ANYTHING else besides praise to say about it. ALL outlets had their criticisms of the Kerry speech.
