Police: More Than 70 Pounds Of Pot Found On Del Mar Beach

Surfer Found Narcotics Early Wednesday, Police Say

DEL MAR, Calif. -- Deputies said that they received a report of found narcotics at about 6:36 a.m. Wednesday, on the beach in the 1100 block of Camino Del Mar, according to the press release.The reporting party stated he saw something on the rocks on the beach when he went surfing at about 4:15 a.m. When he finished surfing, he returned to the area of the rocks on the beach and looked under a tarp. He found several bundles of marijuana, according to the press release.According to the press release, the reporting party immediately notified the Sheriff's Department of his discovery and responding deputies recovered approximately 70 pounds of marijuana. More marijuana was found in a trash can in the parking area.Witnesses said they observed a small boat in the area at about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday.The marijuana was bundled into kilogram-size packages and two large burlap sacks, according to the press release.Related Articles: Find out more about Illegal Drugs and Marijuana.

if it was in del mar u sure its bammer? thats a little too far out to travel + its in a rich area.

oh a surfer found it...oh okay..that makes more sense..hmm weird


del mar is waaaay north...youd find shit liek that more near IB where tijuana estuary is...del mars like damn near 40 miles north thats a damn travel for a box..

that box traveled a good 48 miles straight north if it came from mexico, without getting washed out.. and im sure that takes a long ass time, which leads me to wonder how it wasnt spotted all the way to del mar

sounds like some other shit was going on or it came from somewhere else, i dunno
