a while ago...there was a thread in here about memento, and someone made a recommendation about a foreign movie that was like memento...anyone remember what its called? any help would be appreciated.

That movie is fucking disturbing. There is a rape scene that lasts like 15 minutes and if you didnt know better youd think that shit was hella real... that scene still haunts me

But yeah, I heard about Ichi The Killer, I still gotta see it. Another sav ass movie is "Battle Royale" You seen that shit yet? I love that flik.

I heard Salo is the most disturbing film ever, but really hard to find... you heard about that shit?

have any of you seen Fudoh from Takashi Miike, and is it any good? I saw previews for it on the Visitor Q dvd, which is very fucked up as well. Y'all should check out Alejandro Jodorowsky's movies, they're on some other level type shit. The script I'm writing now is inspired by his work. We should compile some must-see flick lists in here. I'm a underground/cult/foriegn film connoisseur myself ... i'll hit this up tomorrow with some titles, allright....

Alright folks, this thread inspired me to search my local video store for these fliks. I found some dope shit. I just rented Battle Royale, Funny Games, Audition, Baise Moi, Salo, Man Bites Dog, and Ichi The Killer... 7 fliks, 7 dollars, for 7days. God I love college town video stores. Im gonna be one disturbed individual for a week with all these fliks.

that's great news, last i heard this movie wasn't being made. itll be interesting to see manson at work with jodorowsky. yeah, and about salo, i wouldn't watch it around friends either. i've read the 120 days of sodom by sade, and if the movie is even remotley close, people are going think you're real twisted if they see you watching this shit. @melo let me know how baise moi is. i've been wanting to watch that. instead of movies, here are some sites, check out ...

I watched Baise Moi last night and its wack. All it is is a low budget French Thelma and Louise with penetration. Supposedely its the real penetration in a rape scene that caused all the controversy...it was just plain cheesy

I also watched Battle Royale. I have already seen it on my computer, but I was stoked that I found it on tape. Yet when I watched it the quality was so damn shitty. It was an obvious bootleg with a computer printed label on it. Plus the tape said TDK on it... I didnt know stores can rent out bootlegs
