Forbes released their top 20 "cash kings". Jigga topped the list (63 million), Diddy was second (30 million) and a whole bunch of others hovered around 8 million (Em, 50 Cent). The lowest on the list are artists like Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy at around 5 million.



I don't suppose Tech has or will ever release how much he makes in a year as an INDIVIDUAL, but...

Strange made 15 million last year (according to the XXL article). I'm assuming Tech receives a bulk of that as Strange's highest seller, tour headliner, half-owner, etc. If even 1/3 of that goes to Tech himself, that'd put him in or around the top 20.

I thought I read the 15million was profit, but if it's just revenue I guess Tech's income would be smaller. No doubt he still has a multi-million dollar income as I bet the Strange profit-MARGIN is much larger than most artists since it's indy top to bottom.

The fact that Soulja Boy made 6 million dollars is a shame. I mean Gucci Mane is wack, but he at least sounds like he's trying some times. Soulja Boy big hit single this year is the most elementary rap song I think I've ever heard.

As Its always been explained its a 50/50 joint partnership so I believe they would make the same off every release except techs because he would get royalties. That's the way i have always perceived it. I could be totally wrong.

All in all trav makes probably 4 times as much lol. He has so many different business deals.

"Turn My Swag On"? That song is horrible. I can't recall if there's any actual rapping in it. Terrible track...and some of these youngstas out here have the nerve to sing along to it in public!
