For the last few days me and Shawn have been doing some hardcore promoting for the Tech show on the 18th. We hit up The Quest last night with the Tech wrapped box-truck parked outside. The Quest showed us a lot of love and basically gave Shawn and I all-access for the Hip-Hop night. We passed out flyers all night, and gave away cd's/dvds to the croud. Also put up Tech posters in the stairways and stuff. B96 was also there, and kept doing promo for the show on Saturday night on the air and shit. They played the T9X DVD on the tv's and the big screens for a good part of the night.
We also hit up the B96 car show today, and the same DJ from the night before was DJ for it. He let us put some flyers on the B96 DJ table, and he also did some more promo on the air for the show. Also, the DJ and Travis setup a live on-air interview with Tech that is supposed to go down sometime between 6-8 tonight (6/12). Later tonight Shawn and I are gonna hit up Escape Ultra Lounge for B96's show there.
As it looks right now, this show has a lot of hype going, and there is a good chance it might sell-out. So far about 5K of the 10K flyers Travis had printed and sent to me have been passed out, and there is another group of people up here who had 4K flyers printed out that they have already passed out.
In the end, everything is going smoothly, besides the crazy sunburn i have gotten, and getting caught in a pepper spray shot last night outside The Quest because of the group of people who desided to start a fight with about 20-25 police officers on the corner of the street.
