**Note this thread inspired by 2-0-Sixx's Jesus orgasm thread and was posted at the request of fillyacup**

Back in the days, I took a sociology of religion course and the professor once brought comics designed for girls going through puberty. Basically, the comics said it's okay for girls to masturbate as long as they are thinking of Jesus while doing so, and actively encouraged them to do so. Anyways well, searching

I did a bit of research on Google and I think the comics were from the Children of God. They were called True Komix and there is a list of some of them here: http://www.xfamily.org/index.php/True_Komix_-_The_Love_of_God

I'm not 100 percent because these ones are all in B&W and the one my prof showed us was in color, and I cannot find the masterbate for jesus comic in that list. But they are all along the same sort of line and the illustrations are very similar.

FOR THE TLDR FOLKS; see pictures below

More comics at the url posted above.

While these comics are hella funny it's important to note that the people behind these comics were hella fucked up in what they did to small children. Their actions fucked up the minds of numerous children, this is one of them:

That is some ole bullshit...

extremist type shit.

Im not really feeling an open forum religions topic, but all I know is that the cats who made this type of shit are weirdos.

They aint teach me none of this shit in church as a kid.
This ain't your typical religious sect. They were called the Children of God and they were basically outcast by most Christian groups. More like a cult. I'd be surprised if you were learning this shit.

Actors River Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, Rain Phoenix, and Summer Phoenix, as well as sister Liberty Phoenix, were members of the cult from 1972–1978. River Phoenix, who died of a drug overdose in 1993, told Details magazine in November 1991 that "they're ruining people's lives"

Rose McGowan — an actress, described her childhood in the group in interviews with Howard Stern[32] and Interview magazine.[33]

Jeremy Spencer, renowned blues slide guitarist and a founding member of Fleetwood Mac (of which he was a member until 1971), and a current member of TFI since 1971.

Flirty Fishing

The term refers to Matthew 4:19 from the New Testament, in which Jesus tells two fishermen that he will make them "fishers of men".[3] Cult leader David Berg extrapolated from this that women in his movement should be "flirty fishers" (also called "bait" or "fisherwomen"): the targeted men were called "fish". The cult published several documents with exact instructions. Flirty Fishing was defined as using sex appeal for proselytizing. If masturbation, oral, or penetrative sex ensued, this was termed as "loving sexually"[4] and also counted as a "deep witness", meaning that the "bait" earned more brownie points within the group than by mere flirting. Berg noted that Flirty Fishing did not necessarily entail intercourse, but that this was by far the most efficient method of proselytizing.[5]
[edit] Purpose

The group claimed that the purposes of Flirty Fishing were for women to show God's love to men, to win converts to the group, and to garner material and financial support for the group. As cult members usually live in communes, travel a lot and spend their time proselytizing rather than earning a regular income, the financial aspect soon became dominant. The cult also used Flirty Fishing to curry favours with local men of influence such as business men, politicians or police.
[edit] Impact on members

Women who objected to being what the cult itself bluntly described as "God's whores" or "hookers for Jesus" were admonished not to "let self and pride enter in"[6] and reminded that their body didn't really belong to them as according to 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 it had been "bought" (by Jesus through his crucifixion) "with a price

I had a girlfriend a while back that told me in a round about way that she was "married to Jesus", which would lend itself to the whole pleasuring thing.

I couldn't really get down with what she talked about in regards to religion because she was extremely hit or miss.

Then she went crazy and provided me a handful of "cool story, bro!" moments that I often share with my com padre's.
