Best of Black Market vol. 1. Not all Sac, but lyrically it represents many of the flavors of Sacramento (even with the limited number of artists).

That's what first popped into my mind, so it's tentative.

Lynch asked me to do some scratching on his 24 Deep remix and it ended up on Black Market vol. 1. That is a good album with an overall taste of the sac underground scene in the early '90's.

You can't just choose just one because there where two eras where the Flavor from the areas soundin the same

1995 Brotha Lynch Hung - Season Of Da Siccness,C-Bo - Tales From The Crypt,X-Raided - Xorcist,Mr.Doctor - Setrippin Bloccstyle,Sicx - Dead 4 LifemLunasicc - A Million Words A million Dollars.

Than 1997 Came On and and EVERY ARTIST IN SAC CHANGED THYRE STYLE. Brotha Lynch Hung - LOADED,X-Raided -Unforgivin Vol.1,Sicx - If These Walls Could Talk,P-Folks - Blood Smoke Inhalation Blood Sweat & Tears,Loki Illigitimati.

You cant just pick one because it was the sound of an era. My Favorites Constantly change but I'd go with Lynch - Loaded,C-Bo - Tales From The Crypt

Everything mentioned only represents "Crips" and South Sacramento so far, and if you know ANY thing about real life in Sac... thats not even HALF of what really is going on musicaly. What album Reps ALL of Sac North, South, East, West, Mid, etc.
