Anybody have tha Alien Bee ringflash (ABR800)? I been thinkin bout coppin one but I heard some bad reviews about it. Was thinkin about gettin an adapter but I need tha hot shoe for my slaves....

I have one, it works great. The only downside to it is that some of the parts are made out of plastic so you can not just handle it any type of way. You cant buy a any other ringflash at the price point of the AB though. For any other real ringflash you are looking at a minimum of $1200.

Fasho yeah I heard people complain about how some of tha parts be falling off or some shit but shit for $400 and you dont need a battery pack I'll take my chances...LOL!
