for those of you who know about japanese (or maybe korean) food...

anyone know the name of this white mostly soft but kinda chewy round thing that japanese people use to eat with duck or beef? ive ate it before and remember we would put lettuce, duck, and sauce on it then fold it up and eat it like a taco or gyro or something (but its smaller than a taco or gyro)

it basically looks like dough, but whiter. its conceptually used like a tortilla or pita bread. and you can get it at japanese and/or korean restaurants...

anyone know what im talking about? what the hell is this called? can somebody text equipto and ask him?

I've never had a roll other than Sushi @ a Japanese Restaurant . I've had these Chinese Pork Buns ( they come on the side so you can fill them w/ anything ) & spring rolls ( Also all over asia & can be stuffed w/ anything ) are common in most asian dishes - Korean spring rolls slap .

But its probably those two I'd guess . ???????

edit: so apparently theyre also called hirata buns...well in japan at least

That shit looks fuckin' delicious....
it is man. i ate it at a friends house like in early high school and it was great (it mainly depends on the meat inside but the bun compliments it perfect). now that i got the name of the bun i yelped it and found 2 restaurants nearby that people say serve it up real dope so ill be hittin one of those up some time this week. you should see if your areas got any
