I had Floyd winning but I was way off on what I thought would happen, just like I was way off on what I thought would happen in the Collazo/Khan fight. Maidana did 1000 times better than I thought he would.
All that being said please don't waste a fight on a rematch. Floyd won, let's move on to someone else.

Well this proves ONCE and FOR ALL...that Floyd Mayweather has one of the BEST chins in boxing and this nigga is 37 years old and was getting hit by a dude with a 90% ratio??? Also Maidana did a HEEEELLL OF A GOOD JOB...in getting in Floyd's head early on with the dirty rough housing...had Floyd looking like "Mutha FUCKA this MY HOUSE REF ARE YOU SEEING WHAT HES DOING TO ME...ME!!" The cut over the eye had Floyd momentarily freaking out and looking to the ref...but to Floyd's amazing credit he decided to drop the IM THE STAR roll and get in the trenches.
1st- Floyd neutralized Maidana's rush by scissoring Chino's midsection which visibly hurt Marcos EVERYTIME Floyd dipped down and jabbed the stomach. Example see May vs Corales
2nd- From that point Floyd worked off the jab to the stomach to open up his straight right, left hook and body punching.
3- Mayweather at times showed Chino that he could be physically imposing as well and that his chin was up to the task.
4-Last thing...Floyd has a class (attitude) towards boxing that is higher than most and that is why he doesn't retaliate when dirty tactics are being used against him (Chino's low blows etc) I was BEGGING Floyd to hit Chino low but the guy is so confident he just won't do it...Manny Pacqiuao is the same way...they just BELIEVE the are BETTER.
In the end if there was a rematch...the boxer who needs to make the adjustments is Chino and he really lacks the talent to change up much...he'll never land clean shots...next up?

Boxing is funny like that isn't it? Devon Alexander beats Maidana pretty easy to the point where Maidana was thinking retirement, wheres Maidana gave Floyd his toughest fight in years.
I pretty impressed with Khan as well. I don't recall anyone beating Collazo like that. Yeah Khan used too much clinching at times, but he won just about every round and knocked him down 2-3 times. No one has done that to Collazo.

Floyd didn't need to hold that much nor throw his elbows around. They said Floyd did a whole lot better while he was in the middle and he did, but he's to old to hang around like that. Now, I never said Maidana won. I just disagree with how the judges had it. I had originally said Floyd by KO but that didn't happen at all! Floyd is one tough muthafucka but how log will it last.
