“In Vegas this weekend at Chris Webber’s BadaBling welcome party at OPM–Zab Judah had a fight with Floyd Mayweather. He decided to do an impromptu rematch–except it wasn’t planned. The buzz around the club (after folks spotted Zab’s bloody knuckles) is that Floyd was talking sh*t per usual and Zab went and styled on him. Security had to break everything up but y'’all know it took a minute. The fight happened early on in the night so I missed that mess…but Zab did confirm the fight went down later on. Zab is a crazy dude.” (Sohh)
Mayweather and Judah Scuffle at The Club?
By Mark Vester
It has yet to be confirmed, but several rap websites are reporting that WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and former opponent Zab Judah were involved in a brief scuffle at the OPM nightclub in Las Vegas. The story was also repeated by more than one hip-hop radio station.
Last April, Mayweather won a unanimous decision over Judah in a fight that saw both camps brawl in the ring after Judah hit Mayweather with a hard lowblow in the tenth round. Afterwards, Zab, his father Yoel and Roger Mayweather were all fined and given suspensions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
One website actually has photos (see above), though you can barely make out who was involved as security swarmed the scene.
According to various versions of the story, Mayweather initiated a war of words with Judah and the situation quickly turned into a physical encounter. Judah reportedly suffered a few bloody knuckles from the brief skirmish.
