MTT and others, how is life like out there?

There ain't shit out here in Nor Cal as far as jobs for my degree goes. Shit is hitting the fan, breh. It seems like I need to make a move out of state. I've lived in the Bay my entire life, so a change of scenery and a new beginning might be what I need.

I did an online search and some FL spots popped up. The places I found job openings are Miami and Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County. Anyone in the open forum from here?

MTT, what is Orlando like? I went there once, but I was like 10 years old. lol.

on a real note, theres life out the bay. Don't get me wrong I miss it, but the attitude and mentality you have from growing up in that area will always be with you and stand you apart. imo

Registered Nurse, new-grad.

There's plenty of nursing jobs in CA, just not shit as far as new graduates go.

i personally wouldn't mind living in orlando or south florida....

i'm actually planning on buying a vacation condo in celebration florida in a few years... $9000 down and $500/month mortgage is pretty damn good

you should apply at highland general hospital in east oakland, or kaiser permanente's scrap ass hospital in south richmond.

Thanks for the input. I don't mind, it'll only be for 2-3 years. Once I get experience I can come back here and get a job. Or stay there if I like it.

I lived in Pompano Beach for 3 months when i was 16, it's right next to Ft. Lauderdale, small city, but not too suburban and not too far from Miami. Shit was pretty awesome. You got the beach, good weather (except for the occasional tornado/hurricane) and the best thing are the women. My high school was full of the best Latin/South American pussu, as were the streets. So many fine ass girls from Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Columbia....fuck i miss the South-American women, we don't really have those around here...faces cute as hell, tanned skin and curvy bodies. What more could you want?

pompano is a good area. broward county is nicer than dade, id stick with the lauderdale area.
