well here are my 2 cents. Rap belongs to the west coast cuz that's our style hardcore and gritty. Hip hop is more of an east coast sound and that's what i think. As for the east everything coming out of there is 100% bullshit. Nas, gay-z, dmz, everyone. The west has some good shit but most of the really good things are all underground. Yupac maintained his style underground and mainstream that's why i feel he was so succesful and as for Rap it was at its best before pac's death. Now the only real good shit is underground no name cuz they don't have to manipulate their sound to appease millions of people they have the power to mkae what they want and stick true to their fans.
