What's your flaw, EDJ?

Mine is probably that I'm either too quiet/shy around people I don't know (I'd like to speak up, but I really tense up when I'm with a group of people I don't know). Or that I'm too sarcastic because it has led to some misconceptions about myself and by beliefs. People tell me they never know if I'm being serious or not, but I got that from my pops; I can't even tell when he's serious, and I've known that guy my whole life.

I'm sarcastic too often, according to some people. People that know me dont' take it personal cause they know that I'm playin, but others assume they know what I mean...But I'm not really sarcastic with people I don't know. Either that or biting my nails when I'm bored as fuck....Or wait, this is the best one...I waste time on here arguing with people that don't know shit! That's my flaw. I need to start debating with people that actually have a brain and try to understand more than just their way of thinking....

i guess when it comes down to it im non-confrontational...i'd much rather wait something and then get into it with like, my roommates...sometimes peopel say shit that catches me off guard and i just let it slide.

however, my other big problem is that when someone directly insults me, i become a huge asshole and dont stop saying shit back and i fly off the handle...a couple examples

had a party at my house, people for some reason found it funny to hit the pizza outta my hands 4 different times....so the last dood who did it, after the pizza hit the ground, i kicked the pizza all over him...then proceeded to put two holes in the walls with my fists right next to his face.

a friend of mine flipped out at me and decided to drive home drunk after the super bowl, so i tried to stop him in his car, he swings out, knocks me over, so i broke his side mirror, lol.

I'm a rug when it comes to my friends, and I back down very quickly when someone is mad at me. I can't handle confrontation and I'll clam up when someone wants to fight with me. I even back down when friends try to fight with me over my lack of fighting back.

" Stand up for yourself!"
" ... Ok.. I guess.. "

It's a work in progress. I've been getting better at it over time.

It's not a flaw to be non-confrontational or scared of fighting - it's a natural reaction most of us have unless we're under the influence or just think we're so damn good that we're untouchable (in which case they usually deserve to get their arse kicked!). I have the same attitude - I know it's a weird quote, but as the Beatles once said 'Let it be'. As long as you don't let people run over you, I'd consider your 'flaw' to be a positive attribute.

I'd probably share my biggest flaw with Redstorm and Oakraiders - too quite/shy around people I don't know. It usually only happens when they're really extroverted people though - when they're really quite and shy, I usually lead the conversation and feel more comfortable. Strange...
