I need some...also, you know that real west coastin synth sound featured on a lot of cuts...ya know the one on a lot of old eazy e and dre songs n shit? i want that sound...HELP A BROTHA OUT

always wondered what that lead was "gangsta lead" in reason comes close but no cigar im sure its off an old school keyboard they used it a lot on that new keak

Yeah, it's typically a Sawtooth wave or Sine wave to create that "Gangsta whine" type lead. It's hella easy to create with VSTi synths like Minimoog V, Minimonsta, MinimogueVA. Basically any synth that simulates the classic moog synths. It's a monophonic sound. So sometimes bass synth sounds can work to create this whiney funky synth sound when played at higher octaves. You can even give the sound some LFO modulation to give it more of that funk.

you need to learn about vst synths and learn how to get em or pay for em and then install them so you can use them in fl....

id suggest Hypersonic 2 vst....it has plenty of sounds right out the gate and you can always tweak them to your own liking as well.....
