what was the first underground 206 cd u heard?

my first was self tightld - a hustlaz livin hell, right when it came out. my homeboy got it cuzz he new Tu Elevn. i wasnt feelin the cd. then about a month later i started gettin into underground music and appreciated it more. then i heard double odd and thought seattle could come with heat. after awhile my other homie was always listenin to FTS and i was like who the fuck is that? then one day he let me borrow a burned cd of some songs D Sane had up on mp3.com and was hooked on the seattle rap scene.

almost all of them were classics for there time... Still to this day, i think there some of the best NW albums ever. After these I grabbed numerous releases...Squeak, Mob Related, Mob Tight, Funk Daddy, Central Dynasty, Self Titled, & FTS.....

My brother was in Middle Shool at Denny in like 84 or 85,and Mix was passin out records.I still got it at my parents, but it's fucked up with old ass grafitti on it,and some funny old tags..lol

Then my partner Jeremy had a little lable he started, and he was fuckin with some of the locals, Gangsta Nutt(was named Dre Loco or some shit..lol) and Hassan(dont remember his rappin name). This was in like 94 or 95,but it never got printed up.

1995-96
I think Cooley Roc was the first cd I got,he was on my homies lable Xenosoul.BTW Kas,Fat Chris says whattup!!

In like 1989,my friend gave me a tape from a group. It was a name like QD3 or some shit, but it was local.

The First

A buddy told me about Posse On Broadway, so I got the SWASS album. I wanted more local rap, so I searched amazon.com and shit and found the Conception Records Compilation, Kid Sensation "From the Cradle" and a Tacoma hip-hop compilation called "Classic Elements." I was loving those, found seaspot.com, ordered all the albums in their store (which at that time was No Good's debut album, Self Tightld's 2nd album, F.T.S. - Money Motivated and a group called Shock the Town). Then I obviously discovered SLR. Then I heard an add on Kube's "Future Flavors" about a local rap store in the CD (New Millenium, 23rd and Union, not there anymore). From there, it exploded. Then they led me to ARS, which led me other stores, the rest is history.

One night I was at my best friends 18th birthday party, there was this white dude there with Seatown tatted on his hand, He went out to his car and came back with a tape, he put it in the boom box and started rappin along, one of the first songs I heard was step ahead of death,so me and my boys would ride around smokin and bumpin the shit out of that tape, lol "i got a mickey's in my lap and my balls is getting cold" classic shit, thats the first NW rap that I have heard besides Mix allot
