But I'm not sure if Mike Singletary is ready to be Head Coach, yet. I think he'll make a great HC when he gains some experience, but as of right now I don't know if he knows enough about running an entire team to take over and be successful. But even with that said, if he can be more aggressive and utilize our talents on defense and just allow Mike Martz to do whatever he wants with the offense we should be good.

Well what do you expect from that team.......Poor front office decisions will get coaches fired!Al Davis is a good example of that.Bad signings are to blame for this teams failures,just like what washington went through for a couple years.

Great guy, he was just given too much power in the beginning, and drafted the wrong quarterback. The other problem is he has horrible game management. Doesnt call timeouts when he should, calls timeouts when he shouldnt, and will throw challenge flags when they have no shot of winning the challenge. It is horrible how this happend, with the "fired after next game" and that got leaked so they let him go now. This is why every 49er fan misses Eddie D as owner, I am a strong believer the Niners will not win another Super Bowl until the Yorks are out of town

I dont want Singeltary as the HC for next unless he proves himself this year so its a good audition but Im hoping for Holmgrem, Cowler shit even Marty but if Singletary proves he's worth keeping more power to him...Lets hope this ship turns around..

and when Eddie D was the owner, he made things happen and was a big time football fan himself...

Those aren't the only problems. The defense is never prepared for the opponent and has been forced to play a soft ass prevent defense instead of the aggressive defense that actually WORKS with this personnel. Nolan brought in most of these guys and he should know their strengths and utilize them. He did not.

Trust me, that's not why we want Eddie DeBartolo back. There are so many reasons, but this is not one of them. The fans wanted Nolan gone so them booting his ass earlier than expected is not a problem.

Also, did the Yorks pull the trigger or did McCloughan?
