^mooreblock is the dumbest mf on this board man hands down. I know I'm very opinionated and many don't agree with what I say most of the time but man mooreblock is just a stupid mf period. I told this idiot about what his "own" team was going to do (in regards to benching Vince Young, and Chris Johnson taking over for fatboy Lendale White) and he had the nerve to come at me with that "you don't watch as much football as I do" BS!

The 49ers have the players to make a run... it's Mike Nolan that is screwing the 49ers up period. If it wasn't for Mike Martz' arrival, the 49ers probably wouldn't have won any games this season. Nolan makes some stupid decisions during games... if you would have watched the game yesterday Nolan challenged a play he shouldn't have challenged and didn't challenge a play he should have challenged. And why didn't he go for the tie when the 49ers blocked that punt? That was a gimme... might as well go for the tie to tie it up. Nolan's defenses are terrible and that is what is costing the Niners games (other than J.T.'s bad throws)

First of all I meant you must not watch the NINER GAMES.

On top of that, you have no way of knowing how much football anyone else on this board watches.

Yet to be determined? This is how I KNOW you don't watch Niner games. Give me a fuckin break. Who do you think you're fooling? I watch this clown every week making crucial mistakes, blowing timeouts, running a vanilla defense and NEVER adjusting when any real coach would, reviewing plays that are not even eligible to be reviewed and not reviewing plays where a fuckin receiver CLEARLY dropped the fuckin ball, calling for a 50+ yard field goal AGAINST THE WIND just for it to be short (like everyone KNEW it would be, except Nolan) and having the defender catch it and run 109 yards for a fuckin touchdown, kicking field goals when we're down by 14 with just over 2 minutes left to play.. I CAN GO ON AND ON.

Niner fans sounding like raider fans? EVEN RAIDER FANS AGREE WITH US. Being a fan of the Titans, I don't expect you to understand the hatred between Niner and raider fans, but when we agree upon something then that's something to take a look at.

You wanna know how much difference a coach can make? Last season we had the worst offense in the league under Hostler. We couldn't move the ball, we couldn't put points on the board and I don't think we controlled the clock in a single game last year. Under Martz we move the ball, put up points and can control the clock. Also, when Ted Tollner was brought in toward the end of the year to help Hostler, our offense saw IMMEDIATE improvement. Why? Because Tollner actually knew what the fuck he was doing. Hostler did not. Mike Nolan DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK HE IS DOING. Bring in someone who does and we'll see immediate improvement.

It's funny because even most analysts know Mike Nolan is the main problem in SF and when a real coach comes in the team will drastically improve. But I guess since you "watch more football than anyone" you have more knowledge, right?

Give me a break.

just because the fans agree doesnt make it any more right.....once nolan gets fired and niners are stuck in thier losing ways you will be welcomed back to reality just like raider fans...

havnt watched niners games? lol ive seen every minute of every 1....

the coach dont get torched for a huge TD or throw pics for TDs.....

i dont care what asshole on ESPN tends to agree with you.....im not sure how much SUBSTANCE that brings to the table...all i know is that coaching/game planning and the LACK of....is the SMALLEST and LEAST important thing when it comes to winning a game of football...

^^^if you watched the game then you shouldnt be doubting that Nolan should be fired. NFL-level coaches have no excuses for the mistakes Nolan made, and the outcome it had on the game.

just like kiffin was the problem?

just like D HALL being an elite CB?

just like J RUSSEL being a "great" qb?

just like cable going to turn it all around?

just like the raiders winning 10-11 (which ever one it is) games this season?

just like raiders over saints in a close game?

just like javon walker has what it takes to get it done?

atleast i admitted i was wrong about chris johnson.....dude is just 200 lbs and has a extremly small frame......NO one thought he would be doing as well as he is at this point....if ANYONE did he woulda went higher in the draft and not be a "reach" like everyone on draft day thought...

when does it stop though? at what point do you stop and say "this is our guy".....

you can take an example of the RAIDERS of how NOT to deal with coaching "problems"....

coachs are going to make mistakes like anyone else.....even the elite ones do...and the elite ones to come are going to make mistakes...

it comes down to the players and the plays they make on the field....you cant blame a coach for the 2nd highest paid CB in the leauge ever gettin torched for TDs....

coaches are allways the common thing to complain about when your team sucks....its hard to just admit that the team as a whole isnt that good...and it gets even worse when the team has a hot game and shows the dreaded word of "potential" to be good or w/e.....

The last paragraph tells me you've never played football. Don't even try to tell me you did, as I'm sure you will. And if you have, it wasn't at a level any higher than Pop Warner Midgets.

Example.. In high school we played a vanilla 4-3 defense in prevent mode, no blitzing and no adjustments were ever made (sounds like Mike Nolan's defense, doesn't it). Our defense got torched but we still won games due to a strong offense. About halfway thru the season the coach got fired for misconduct involving a student and the replacement coach installed a new system on defense because clearly the scheme we were running wasn't working. We were more prepared for each game as a team (thanks to the coach) and we became more aggressive on defense and actually had a gameplan for each team we played. Guess what, we only gave up 2 touchdowns the rest of the season. We got no new players and made no upgrades to any position, they just started playing in a better scheme.

So don't try to tell me a change in coaching won't help this team. You act like they have shitty players and if you truly do watch as much football as you claim you do you'd know the Niners have a talented defense. When there's talent but no production, the coaches are to blame.

You seem to be the ONLY person that does not understand this.

Nate Clements is a physical CB. Nolan has him playing off his man. Any coach who is not a fuckin RETARD would have him playing more aggressively and more physical. But Nolan's scheme does not call for that. In other words his strengths are useless in Nolan's system. There's a reason he wasn't getting "torched for TDs" in Buffalo.

What is it that you can't process?

lmao at your assumptions....i know i PLAYED a lot more then you....what HS did you go to? lol....what kind of program they running lmao?

since when is it uncommon for a "talented" team to not get the "stats" they should...?

and ive never said changing a coach wont make a difference......but raider/niner fans a like think thats the ONLY problem....or atleast the UNDERLYING problem.....but like i said...thats not the case....game planning and schemes can give an edge but its the instintics and play of the PLAYERS that win football games....

sorry to break hearts

Who's fault is that? It's Nolan's fault you moron. Who signed Nate Clements? Oh, it must have been the Yorks, right? Or was it the players' fault? Yeah, that's it, it was the players. They got together and said "Hey, let's sign Nate Clements even though Nolan won't allow him to utilize his strengths here."

Get the fuck out of here. It's Nolan's fault no matter what.

Yeah, let's change the subject to Gilroy now..

Fuck outta here with your lying ass. It wouldn't matter if I played for the smallest high school in the nation, my experience with a coaching change allowed me to see the difference and it opened my eyes to how important a coach can be when you're stuck with an incompetent one. Now, go look up the toughest divisions in California, find one you wanna say you played for and then tell me what high school you went to. Go ahead.. You're not important enough for me to bother to research it, so anything will do. Let's have it.

You're talking as if Nolan is a competent coach. You obviously don't see how bad the guy is. Your argument would only hold weight if the coach in question was somewhat decent and was replaced by another decent coach. That's not the case. Mike Nolan has no business being a head coach in this league and you'll see that when nobody picks him up as HC after he gets fired.
