His record overall, he's 5-4 that's not sub .500. Anyways if you haven't been watching every game since he took over the team has been better all around. His first game as headcoach ever they got killed by the seahawks, and again killed by the cowboys. But every other game has been close. They almost beat the cardinals (goal line situation at the end) and almost beat the Dolphins (they were in the red zone and had so much time of posession). Look at the overall picture, even penalties were way down since he took over.

A slight improvement? LMAO. Come on man. You say you watch every game so let's be honest here. This team was heading to a 3-13 record under Mike Nolan.
Mike Singletary is officially 5-4 as a coach, but I wouldn't even count the first game because HE didn't have the time to prepare them for that game. The next game they looked far more prepared and ready-to-go and they've looked that way ever since.
If it becomes obvious that Mike Singletary doesn't know what the fuck he is doing, like Mike Nolan, then I'd say get rid of him. I don't think that will happen. You don't seem to understand how bad Nolan actually was. And my whole point was the team would be a better team when Nolan got fired and that's exactly what happened. You said it wouldn't make any difference.
Mike Nolan would have beaten STL once, we would have lost to every other team. Don't forget Mike Nolan only beat the worst team in NFL history (DET) and barely squeeked by against the Seahawks mainly because of Patrick Willis' INT for a TD. We should have beaten Philly but Nolan's soft defense allowed them to come back. If you watched every game like you claim you do you would have noticed the difference just by the way they played the games. The turnovers dramatically dropped and so did the penalties. The sacks went down. The defense all of a sudden started getting stingy.
You can say what you want and try to discredit Singletary all you want, but we both know you were wrong.

your guessing what nolan "would" of done if he had finished the season...i didnt realize Mike S had a winning record but he did play some shitty teams...signs of hope? maybe...your going to have to start winning division games specially in that garbage divsion....still a lot of ?s throughout the 9ers team....
