FINALLY GOT OBLIVION

No online play? I thought I read everywhere that you can take your chracter online and play with it. I could have swore I read that a million times, but then again I could be crazy. Were they ever plannin on havin an online feature and just took it out or what? Cuze I'm really startin to think I'm nuts.
Oh yeah and the race I chose was the Dark Elf, and I tried to make him look as close to me as possible. I chose Dark Elf cuze it seemed like they were the best all around. What do ya'll normally pick as your race? Is one better than the other? Cuze I was considerin startin over and pickin an Imperial but I don't know so much shit to choose from. I ain't even that far either, not even through the sewers. And to the other guy that doesn't know whats so special about the game, its the detailed graphics and not to mention I heard the storyline is one of the best ever but who knows. Shit when you create a character there is so much shit to do put the nose up down, thick eyes brows, small or fat lips, etc. You could pretty much make anyone as long as you got the patience to sit there and adjust every single setting.
sorry to keep postin messages but I forgot to ask when ya'll play do you use the 1st person or 3rd person. Me personally I like the 3rd person a lot better, especially for this type of game almost like Fable and shit. Whenever I see anyone else play or on TV and shit they always have the 1st person, so ya know.
@ Y-S, i aint tryna be no dick or nothin, but world or warcraft is NOTHING compared to oblivion. its a completely different game. seriously what i said before still stands, play the fuckin game before you speak on it.
aryo... i think i play dark elf as well, its been a minute since i got down on oblivion, dark elfs the one with the immunity to fire correct? thats the one i always use. and if your not out of the sewers yet.. word to the wise when you get to that last door that opens the sewers up to the rest of the world, SAVE! cuz you can get pissed at somethin an it'll make you wanna completely start over an if you gotta go thru the whole sewer system again its a bitch. cuz at the end you can jus change everything an then blam.. you in the world

Haha WoW and Oblivion are in two different leagues. One is a game for amateurs, one is a game for real computer RPG players. (360 = computer, in this case, and in most cases). Played em both for way too long. Don't play either right now, but if I did then Oblivion would be the obvious choice.. the replay value on its single player is as high as the multiplayer on most MMORPG's. Plus the stats and skills management and upgrading is the real deal as opposed to a bunch of automated crap.
A couple of the previous Elder Scrolls games have had a better story, (Arena being #1 probably), and some of them have had a "bigger" world. But Oblivion is the one with the most immersing world that sucks you in and makes you a part of it. That game is fucking insane when it comes to putting you in the characters spot. I always hear some people say the game is too "lonely" and "boring".. i understand that kinda, its just too open ended for them and they dont know what to do. But for people with direction and interest in exploring shit, it cant really be beat.

I made a Dark Elf for my second go through, forget which class and everything, but he absorbs magic, like if an imp throws fire at him, he gains magic and life from it, which is fucking evil... I try to go through and max out my strength and endurance first, so I do the quest with the everscamp staff, with the scamps that respawn forever, and kill them off like crazy, then let them almost kill me and heal up over and over, my weapon skills are almost all maxed, my block and armor skills are maxed, and I'm just working on different magic skills now. I finished all the guilds and quests on my first guy, so this guy is more for just going around and doing as many oblivion gates and shit like that that I can find... If I can find the guide for how I made my guy, I'll post it up, as you really can't lose with how he is set up.
Damn I lied I thought when I was in the caverns I was in the sewers. Shit I'm barely bout to get in the sewers now, I created a custom class called Warriormage, cuze the Battlemage was coo but didn't have some skills I wanted, so ya know. Like this game though, pretty beefy so far. I can't decide if I like first person or third more. I like 3rd to walk around and explore, but I like to use first person to fight sometimes, haha.
Oh yeah and Lemon I'm the cat you were playin GOW with yesterday. I'm PThizzilini 707. The other thing I wanted to ask is there anyway to make your character fatter? Well not neccesarily fat but bigger, cuze mine is fuckin like a toothpick and shit. The only thing I could think of is I made him look as young as posssible cuze ya know I look young as fuck and I was tryin to make myself into a dark elf, so does anyone know? I might be addicted.
