Festival de la Familia is a family event featuring the regions' passion for things Latino. Once held on the cobblestone streets of Old Sacramento, Festival de la Familia outgrew the locale and moved to Cal Expo. The new venue affords more elbow room for attendees and expands accommodations for artists, musicians, vendors and exhibits.

Come out and join more than 25,000 other festival goers and take in latino culture. This year, event organizers expect to break attendance records. Over 500 volunteers help make sure everybody has a good time.

Over 20 bands perform on multiple stages throughout the day including:

Jorge Santana (Carlos Santana's brother) performing with Sapo and Richard Bean.


TIERRA - Reunion of the Salas Brothers - Rudy and Steve Salas.


The Amigos Band - A Carols Santana Tribute Band.

I'm a volunteer, so who knows what kind of shit I'll be doin'.

I think I'll go around and confiscate weed from all of the youngstas....tell them I work for "Cal Expo P.D." and I need to make sure that in the best interest of the public, there must be no brown weed in the perimiter.

Its going to be gay shit we went two years ago and got kicked out for punking some screeziez. Ever since they moved it to to cal expo shits not coo. Old sac was the shit we was deep out there every year mayne.
