damn oso this shit gots me twisted too. cause like I said growing up banging norte in Fresno in the early 90's mutts tried to disassociate themselves with red,14,or norte. they overdid it with bulldog gear and say dog like 20 times in one sentence. when I went back to fresno in the late 90's they were tagging F14 alot again. but still I didnt really see them flag red alot. the eastsiders where starting to wear red alot though.
Now that when I go to fresno them mutts wear red chucks, red belts, and flaunt red panos. which is such a trip cause nortenos and mutts back in my day knew that real mutts wouldnt wear those items. I swear it is hard to tell who is a mutt on site if they dont have bulldog gear or tatts. but since I am familiar to the area I can tell right away whose who. cause now nortenos there overdue it with Nebraska , North Carolina, or UNLV gear. we stress the use of "ene" when talking to ourselves. I swear if someone calls us dogs, even if it is a square, we'll take that to offense. We'll be like I aint no dog, ene. I dont live there anymore but WFN West Fresno Norte are some of the truest nortenos I ever came across.
I think that most of the confusion, on who is a mutt and who is an ene, started with the way mutts rep now. I met some mutts at where I worked at in fresno (I dont work there anymore). it was funny cause I would always have a red pano with me and some young mutt started talking to me cause he thought I was a mutt. I didnt get all crazy with him but I let him know I was ene and I could give a fuck about him. I guess he went and spoke to an og mutt. and he learned the game. after that him and his mutt crew would try to make me uncomfortable in there till one day shit popped off and I got fired. the point of this story is that the alot of the younger mutts dont really know the game. they think that mutts are whoever they see with a red rag. they know that they have funk with us, but they dont know why, until they have a talk with an old mutt. so thats why they dont try to disasociate with red or 14.
as for the
F-14, that is the original gang of nortenos in fresno that decided to break away from norte. I saw some older fool with that tatted on his neck, he was with other mutts. they were located in the eastside of fresno in the early 80's. in my younger days, mutts went under this name, then they switched to bulldogs.(they did this to drop the 14) now that the majority of mutts were never nortenos to begin with, they probably dont care or know why they should use 14, but I heard they use it again cause they are warring with surenos. maybe this is why they used 14 in their picture.
as for the norte this makes no sense to me. I mean I aint doubting you. its just that I cant even see why they would use this. are those mutts from another city in the county? cause when enes from the county get locked up, some transform into mutts. not all of them but the weak ones do. I know some of FC Enes homies we ran into when he got out of YA, turned into mutts. they were nortenos. I remember one fool had his shirt off, and he had the famero bird on his chest, the four dots and all. but on his back he had fresno with a mutt head for the "O" in fresno. stupid mutt had two different rival gangs tatted on his body. alot of ex enes have both tats.
like I said it is very confusing thats why I could give a fuck about mutts. I hate those motha fuckas the most. it seems that on the streets they are nortenos cause all the red and 14 and they funk with scraps. but real nortenos funk with them all the time, especialy if they used to be enes. also like I said this is a trip cause back in my day it seemed like it was forbidden to try to associate with 14 or red. the norte in the picture I have no idea.
hope I cleared shit up.
