I didn't go to any of the shows, but I wonder how much crowd reaction contributes to people's assessment of who gives a better performance.

When there's a few thousand people chanting along with the songs of the performer (as I've heard it was for Tech in Denver and like it has probably been for Nas throughout the tour) there's a sort of collective effervescence and energy running through the crowd that you don't get when there's maybe a couple hundred folks barely filling the area in front of the stage

Never really bean a Nas fan, no disrespect to his music though. I can see more of Tech's song's being "crowd friendly" then Nas'.
and thats the way it usually is but at this rock the bells nas came with it. he had a live band do his shit then he had damian do his shit over his music then nas rapped over damian's beats. and he did almost every damn song off illmatic which he rarely does. it was fucking crazy and i've seen nas before but not like that. as a whole tech is way better than almost every artist out there rap or rock.
