Yep, the first three were classic Town beats and lyrics. 'Can You Feel Me' was released in '97 and was the last tight DD album to me. After that... he lost the deal with Relativity and like a lot out the Bay... downhill. I remember when I first heard 'Fools...' Damn, that shit was raw with the "Luni Tunez" and all.

Explicit Game was the best to me. "Rescue 911" alone makes it better then any other DD album. That track is like a movie in your head.

@ Devilsih Scheme: Who's that broad in yo sig?

For it's low budget production, 'Explicit Game' was a marvel.
'Can You Feel Me' had a tighter, more polished siound with totally diffrent beatmakers

Both EXPLICIT GAME and CAN YOU FEEL ME? were both classics, IMHO, and it's hard for me to pick one over the other (although Da Yayologist has a good point about the production differences). PIMPIN PARAPHENALIA was wack, and GANGSTA PIMPIN was solid, but unspectacular (and I believe it might have been dated when it came out...there was a website devoted mostly to Tupac that reviewed it, and they said that GANGSTA PIMPIN was going to come out on Ruthless in like '99 or 2000, but due to disagreements and shit, it got shelved, until Bayside put it out in 2002).

D.D.'s guest appearances on Yukmouth's CD (UGA, GODZILLA) show that he can still put it down when he wants to...I'd love to hear another Dru Down solo..."Can you FEEEEEL MEYEEIIA?!?"

I agree, that showed off Yuk´s story-telling strengths plus you cant lose over 1 of Tone Capone´s tighest beats EVER, that JT track is tight as well, plus "Rigga" was on there as well, which was hella underrated IMO......................
