get high to free my mind; drop pills for my feelings to spill;
but i still feel empty inside; i feel like dr. jeckyl and mr. hyde;
keep a smile on the outside; my feelings i try to hide;
i give a sigh and a deep breath when i face death;
theres nothing left; a piece of my heart spread around the world;
to every girl;
though very few thats cause my feelings are true;
my eyes constantly looking for happiness;
not in others, i wonder indside you;
your mind, your spine; whereever i can find a place to call my mine;
my home where i feel welcome my kingdom;
a place to have fun; tomake a son or daughter;
to hear laughter see my seeds grow older and wiser;
to become better than me; to be all i couldn't be;
for them or any other well at least i can say i raised a family;
to the best of my ability; even if am on disability i still got the ability to love them so;
to watch 'em grow is all i ask so this song i wrote;
hopin i'll never be broke, i can't stand seein' anybodys seeds with nothing to eat;
even if i have to kneel down to kiss someone else's feet;
just so they'll have something to ear;
never to ashamed to provide for my family; so they can live happily;
when its time for me to meet God; all i can say is i gave it all i got;
from begining to end workin i'll never stop for my family 'til my last heart beat stops;
hate them i can not cause they're all i got; thru the thick and the thin;
theres no place i haven't been; or seen i lived the gangsta life style;
all i got was trials; so i try to walk the straight line;
even though i may stray a bit my heart gets me back on track;
they can't live bad; i'll never see that as long as am not in the sack;
i can be mad at times; but i can't stand to see them lookin up at me with a frown;
me lookin' down at them cause i punished them; they'll find out in due time;
that i loved them; it hurted me more within when i punished them;
they committed sins so they get what's comin' to them;
am not God but i try to lead them in the right direction; with out gettin' shot;
cause i been there done that; don't want them to live that;
the bad track, the easiest to take;
follow the straight and narrow even if your life's at stake;
your best is all it takes to live the great life;
with your wife on the other side with ya kids lined up side by side;
