whats the first thing you can tell in a fake throwback :dead:

Some players arent even allowed to be produced. If an authentic throwback is produced it will be the same style as it was worn (screened on #'s for example) most bootlegs have stiched #'s well at least for football jerseys, i dont know if you are directing this towards basketball.

Hella Fakes everywhere you look. The main ones I always spot are the Simpson and the Jordan...no authorization from them...FAKE...also...the old school 49er Jerseys did not have the NFL sheild in the bottom of the collar. The ones that have that are fake....the stitching on the letters will also tell you what is what....

I'm going to be having nothing but pro bowl style jerseys within the next month. From all years from the 70's to '00. If anyone is interested. All players that arent produced and shit you wont see.

this is a letter from AN AUTHORIZED WEBSITE that me and my folks go thru....bout fakes

"The best way to know you are not buying a fake is to purchase only from authorized, legitimate retailers (like us). Here are a few "red flags" to watch out for fake jerseys:

The jersey is priced way below retail (for example a jersey that normally sells for $300 is only $150 or $200)
The jersey is being sold on the street (street vendor), out of a van, or in a store alongside other counterfeit items (like fake Gucci bags, Fendi bags, etc.)
The jersey is being auctioned on eBay and there are several of the same exact item for sale.
The retailer is not on the Mitchell & Ness Authorized Retailer List (here's a link: http://www.mitchellandness.com/06authorized.htm).
The quality and colors are not quite right when compared to a real jersey.
The jersey is a player or team that Mitchell & Ness does not make (like Michael Jordan, O.J. Simpson) "

I've seen knockoff items that are better quality than the originals at 1/10th the price. Please believe me, I'm gonna buy the knockoff in a second!
