this is so true. i think that's why i try to keep it real with all the peoples around the way...there are probably only "two" people i've come around that are truly humble with all their accomplishments and i am proud to work with one of them. when i meet artists, if i truly believe in their work and no matter where they are in the popularity ladder, imna try and help 'em. i believe everyone deserves a fair chance. never know who you can trust nowadays, but as long as you stay a step ahead...you're good. i think the more grounded you keep yourself, the more cautious you are and it sucks how i have given my trust in many people, only for them to disappoint me--that includes people on this board, but it's all business to them-i guess. business/personal, it's all the same to me...corny but true, but "the good man always wins."
