i have a question about these 3 cities. i just started listening to bay music not too long ago and ive never been to the bay. at first when i started listening to it, i thought the bay was only San Francisco, Oakland, Vallejo, and Richmond, but where are Fairfield, Stockton, and San Jose. are they in any of the 4 main cities or are they just little cities, but still in the bay?

DUMB ASS QUESTION SHUT THE FUCK UP
why the fuck u gotta say stupid shit like that when homie was askin a simple question about the bay. if u aint got nothin cool to say, please keep ya bitch mouth shut

fairfield is one of the biggest breeding grounds for talent in the bay. we are the last town in the 707, after us comes vacaville. our big brother city was always vallejo and our little sister city has always been suisun. fairfield has just over 100,000 people in the city, so its small compaired to the other cities you've mentioned. it has spawed the careers of mike mosley, rick rock, rhythmx, ezsd, freaky fred, federation/kinsmoke, dj pimp, chauncey banks, pizzo, bobby ford, BC, skip dog and too many others to mention. fairfield aint as big as many of the others, but we've made lots of noise in the bay area rap game since 85

stockton is not the bay, it is the central valley......san jose and fairfield are considered the bay
I'll 2nd that. Sac, Stockton, Modesto are all the central valley. Fairfiled, Vacaville also share the 707 area code and are next door to Vallejo. I alway's thought that San Jose was a stretch or extension of the Bay but hey... it does depend on who you're asking. Some people just want to be down with the movement of the Bay...

If you askin from a technical standpoint Stockton is not the Bay Area but Fairfield and San Jose definitely are. Its an actual fact that geographically Fairfield and San Jose are in the Bay area. If you got to Fairfield and San jo you'll see the same things goin on that you'd see in Oakland, Frisco, Richmond, Vallejo, etc in terms of the culture. Stockton on the other hand is damn near 70 miles from the bay and is technically the central valley.

Here's a map. kinda hard to read. some people consider Stockton to be Bay Area, but most don't. Santa Rosa is usually considered the northern border. Some people consider Gilroy in the south to be Bay, but that shit is hella days away. Antioch isn't on this map, but it's just East of Concord. that's as far East as it goes. Everything past Fairfield on 80 is basically Sacramento. Salinas, Monterrey and everything down there seems too far out to me, but it depends on who you talk to.

yeaa, but i know HELLA foos out in the 831; Marina, Seaside, etc that try and say that's the bay.. That's the Monterey bay, not no San Francisco bay
