I get a call a couple days ago from Tacoma emcee "FACTOR" about hanging with Brian Angel from Day26 for a promo around Town...
Me and Fac' met up with Brian at the studio where he was perfecting tracks on pro tools, kind of surreal because you always see Diddy's groups recording on TV. Went to the Tacoma Mall...got stopped by security 4+ times for filming, ran out of compactflash. Then we went to a Bethel High School football game, I couldn't bring the cam in, but it was nice, a lot of the kids were going crazy - noticed him instantly. Took him to the liquor store on 72nd for a couple bottles. Then we left to Temple Theater. One thing that was cool was I personally got to meet Chico Debarge, and talked with H-Town, handed them a demo. I had to be by Brian at all times for film and photos and I soaked up some game from him. Later that night, everybody hooked up at the Marriot and headed out to Buds, I took a couple good clips and we bouced.
I kicked it with Brian all day. He made sure to tell me more than once that in the music game a lot of the times the underdog wins, so that made me feel a lot better about the little moves we're doing in Darxiide and the northwest in general. I tossed him a darxiide demo, let em know about Dale Chihuly while we were downtown. He "fuks" with Tacoma. He put me on game to a lot of stuff, just by him being him. A real humble guy in my opinion and he can honestly sing great in real life, so I know he has the talent to blow. There was other sh*t that happened too. Who knows, maybe a music video is coming up soon *wink*, all I know is I got tickets to Miami. Stay up everybody & more "SOUTH SOUND HIP HOP INTERVIEWS" coming up.... "Sic ill
