Some one educate me on why on some soccer games they go to penalty kicks but not all? Is it because of the point system they use for tournaments or what?

Typically, in league play, a win is worth 3 points, a tie is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. They don't go to PK's during league matches, but in playoffs, some tournaments and championships, they do go to PK's.

Lamberto basically said it all right.. besides this last game was a "Friendly" so there was no point to go to pk's. Since it wouldn't be nothing but braggin rights off whoever won..
