is it evil to wish bad things on other people? or think the worst for sumone else?

because since me and the mother of my son have seperated, i just wish that everythin would just turn to shit for her and now it has but i feel sort of guilty. should i feel guilty?? or is it kharma? cuz she did lots of fucked up shit to me.
