eureka presonus suggestions?

i picked up this pre amp i have it running into the didgi design m-box pro tools le and a audio technia mic

ok the question is is there a uneversal setting or a good setting i should have the eureka set 2 any ideas i dont use the compressor or eq because i was told the sound should be dry going in??

you could use some light compression and very light eq going in. I like the way hardware compressors sound way more than there plugin counterparts. Like a 2.5:1 ratio, just make sure your not slammin' it on the threshold or it will sound fucked up. I usually like to roll off around 80-110 hz going in as well just so I dont have to do it later..
