Escaped Folsom Prison Inmate Captured

FOLSOM, Calif. -- An inmate who escaped from Folsom State Prison on Thursday morning was captured by an off-duty sheriff's deputy, officials said.

Prisoner Ivan McClure was found and detained by a deputy who was out for a bicycle ride.

Authorities said the deputy held McClure until police and guards showed up.

McClure was supposed to be released from prison in June. Officials said he is now facing another one to two years in prison.
